Latham thanks community for support on “Sunday Journal”
January 28, 2020
In case you missed the Sunday Journal radio broadcast featuring an interview with Latham President Anne McManus, the link to the audio podcast is now available at CapeCod.com here.
Anne shared highlights of Latham’s 50-year legacy (1970 to 2020) and vision for the future on the January 26th public affairs radio program. In the 17-minute Sunday Journal segment, Anne expresses gratitude for the support from the greater community, including businesses who provide jobs and volunteer opportunities for students and adult participants in Latham’s programs: “The business community has been very supportive, the Town of Brewster has been fantastic to our students and residents; they’ve supported us, they get involved with us, they’re real partners, and that has been a blessing.”
Our agency’s 50-year milestone will be honored at events throughout 2020, including a fundraiser to help support our Asinotherapy (miniature donkey therapy) Program in April; the annual Latham Charity Golf Classic in October at Ocean Edge Resort & Golf Club; and a Prader-Willi Syndrome Conference in conjunction with Latham’s 50th Anniversary Gala in December, also at Ocean Edge.
Thanks so much to Cape Cod Broadcasting Media’s Sunday Journal host Justin Saunders for helping Latham Centers share our news and appreciation with radio listeners throughout Cape Cod and southeastern Massachusetts!
