Bowlers and volunteers invited to join us for Roll the Rock

Latham Centers will participate in Roll the Rock, a Barnstable Charitable Foundation (formerly Cape Cod Charitable FunRaisers) bowling event on Friday, May 3rd at Ryan Family Amusements in Yarmouth. This will be our fourth consecutive year joining other Cape non-profits for an evening of bowling and comradery. As of today, seven teams have registered to bowl for Latham. Each team of four pledges to raise a minimum of $500. Teams choose a name (usually to reflect a theme), costumes are encouraged, and prizes are awarded for best costumes and most spirit. Last year, Latham sent teams dressed as Golden Turkeys, Solid Gold Bowlers, and the Pirates of “Pinzance,” among others. One of our Latham teams won last year’s tournament, and another won the spirit award! We hope to reprise our successful performance again this year.
100% of funds raised by Latham teams will support our capital campaign for the Latham Community and Arts Center.
There is time to help: We are seeking additional teams, event volunteers, and donors. If you prefer to mail a check instead of donating online, please write the check payable to Barnstable Charitable Foundation (with the Latham team name on the memo line) and mail to Latham Centers, 14 Lots Hollow Rd., Orleans, MA 02653.
